Polo on the Beach

    Blanco Catering have had the honour of catering Adelaide’s glam social set at this event in the city for the past 8 years, with the event growing each and every year. This was the first time this event was hosted on the white sands of Glenelg Beach.

    Picturesque marquees were themed and decorated for 1000 + attendees to enjoy, while relaxing in the brilliant Adelaide sun and watching the polo players take to the field.

    This large-scale stand up soiree allowed to Blanco to be innovative with the menu and create a selection of tasty bite-sized delicacy’s that were easy to eat and well-balanced. Tasty pork belly sliders, citrus sugar cured ocean trout with avocado and puffed wild rice, and mini gourmet doughnuts.

    It was a real treat to cater one of the Summer’s premier events.

    Barefoot & Black-tie Beach Barbecue

    This private affair was located on the beachside of Adelaide’s Southern coastline and was designed as a quintessential South Australian experience. A stunning clear marquee was erected on the beach with nautical theming throughout.

    Hosting a long table of internationally renowned sommelier’s, this exclusive fine dining experience, included a multi-course dinner, featuring beautiful South Australian produce that accompanied South Australia’s famous Penfold’s wines.

    A seaside-inspired menu included dishes such as Smoked Duck Ham, Pastured Chicken Parfait, Candied Cumquats and Endive; San Jose Mayura Station Wagyu Bresaola, Pickled Fennel, Parsley and Preserved Orange; Southern Rock Lobster; and Whole Baby Snapper wrapped in Banana Leaf and Paper Bark.

    Guests were treated to exciting flavours, matched with aromatic wines, whilst enjoying the sunset over Adelaide’s glistening beach.

    A magical garden wedding under the stars

    The team at Blanco Catering worked closely with some of Adelaide’s finest wedding suppliers to deliver an absolutely exquisite outdoor fairytale wedding.

    A special multi-course menu was created for the couple to cater for 250+ guests. Our front-of-house catering specialists coordinated service with our chefs to ensure food was presented in a timely fashion and the whole event ran seamlessly.

    The food was delightful, the atmosphere beautiful and the overall experience magical.
